Vicki Fraser’s impressive career has earned her the reputation as a talented professional trainer, mediator and executive coach. Vicki uses functional, down-to-earth methodologies to achieve outstanding results in the following areas of the contemporary corporate environment:

Underpinning Vicki’s specialist knowledge is her distinguished 25 years as a senior executive within Victoria Police, where she reached the rank of Chief Inspector. Her career in senior management encompassed the development of policy and command of large scale operations, working as advisor to the Minister for Police and Emergency Services, and she was responsible for over 400 officers of all ranks and duties during her assignment as the Superintendent of a large Melbourne police region.

Vicki has used her experience as a senior executive in government to provide a management consultancy service to the Corporate, Financial, University, Federal, State and Local government and sporting sectors. She specialises in identifying causal factors that impede effective service delivery within organisations.  Vicki currently works as an Executive Coach with Executives in the Corporate and Legal sectors, Deans, Heads of Departments, Senior Academics and Professional staff at a number of universities in Victoria, Perth and New South Wales to assist them in developing their leadership skills and to provide support and identify strategies for specific management challenges.  Vicki has been instrumental in creating and implementing leadership programs for aspiring and serving Heads of Department at the Universities of Melbourne and Deakin. She has facilitated strategic planning sessions and created workshops to address specific issues within teams, including in improving team communications, team safety and in dealing with conflict. 

She is a member of the Australian Association for Psychological Type, a Fellow of the Williamson Community Leadership Program, an Associate of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators, Australia, a member of the Executive Coaching sub-group of the International Society for Coaching Psychology Group, a member of the International BodyTalk Association,  and a graduate of Airlie Officer’s College, Victoria Police. Vicki also served as a Ministerial appointee to the Victorian State Government Community Council for the Prevention of Crime and Violence. She is an accredited facilitator for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (Steps 1 and 2) and the BarOn EQi Emotional Intelligence inventory.  She was Chairman of the Queen Elizabeth Early Parenting Centre and is a trained mediator. Her major studies were in psychology and communications.

Vicki was awarded the Australia Police Medal (A.P.M.) in the Queen’s Birthday Awards, was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, awarded a Certificate of Recognition in the Australian Violence Prevention Awards for services to the community, the Medal of St. Michael for services to children and the community and the “White Flame” award (Save the Children Fund) for services to the prevention of violence and child abuse. She currently also works pro bono with a number of Not-for-Profits as a Client Manager for Leadership Victoria.
